We use the smallest set of cookies and browser storage that lets the site work. No advertising cookies, no third-party tracking pixels, no session-replay tools.

Strictly necessary

• Session — keeps you signed in to your in-progress claim while you fetch your ticket number from another tab. Expires when you close the browser.
• CSRF token — used to verify form submissions come from this site. Expires with the session.

Functional

• Form draft — if you enable save-and-resume, we store a small token in your browser so you can re-open your draft later. Deleted when you submit or after 30 days.

What we don't use

• No Google Analytics or marketing pixels.
• No Facebook / TikTok / X advertising tags.
• No fingerprinting or device-graph services.

Managing cookies

Because we only use strictly necessary and functional cookies, no consent banner is required under UK ICO guidance. You can clear them at any time from your browser's settings — the site will still work, you'll just be asked to log back in to in-progress drafts.
